"Biplanes Are My Planes"

"Biplanes Are My Planes" is a music video segment of the documentary "That They Might Fly Again - Part 2" available at fitzvideo.com on Blu-ray or DVD. Although monoplanes have existed since very early in Aviation, most people think of Biplanes when you mention Classics or Antique Aircraft. In keeping with this, Brian FitzGerald has assembled some interesting footage of Biplanes that was gathered at four different venues in three of our United States.

3:15 onwards. Wing walking. My favourite activity! I've had three rides on the top of Stearman's as can be seen on my KZbin channel. Loops and barrel rolls are the best bit! I've also had an aerobatic ride with two loops and a hammerhead turn in a 1942 de Havilland Tiger Moth over Stonehenge, England. All absolutely fabulous! Stearman's and Tiger Moth's are my top 2 planes!

Military jets are the military jets....... airliners.......cessnas...... but acrobatic-sport biplanes are a poem with two wings covered with candy! I can't retake my life without any of them. My love is an Acrosport 1. Congrats to all owners, pilots and enthusiasts.

My favorite is the Beech Stagger wing (C17). We're lucky to have one of those 70 + still flying stationed here in Maine.

I love the Staggerwing, too. I live in the Wichita area and remember well a Staggerwing convention held at Beech Field. I brought my Son with me and took a lot of pictures. There were about 30 on the field. That was long before I started website (fitzvideo.com), KZbin Channel or The Flite Blog™.
