Greetings! You should not stop medicines without consulting your Psychiatrist. I understand that sometimes there are some side effects. You can discuss about these issues with your Psychiatrist. Interesting question. We need to understand 2 things first. 1) Bipolar disorder is an episodic illness. In between the episodes, patients have some awareness that they are suffering from a mood disorder. 2) Insight (i.e., patient's awareness of being ill) is not either present or absent. It exists in a continuum. Most patients have fair amount of insight during the episodes of hypomania and depression. However, the insight may be absent or partially present during episodes of mania or severe depression with psychotic symptoms. Hope this helps you..

Mera doctor yahi btaya h aur jitna hum research kre h usse yahi malum chla h k life time lena hoga. Mere 5 maternal uncle unsb ko yahi problem h pr wo log bhoot pret jinnat me jayada mante h to kvi regular dawa liye nhi aur unki life ek dm chaupat h. Wife bhi chhorh k ja chuki h ek ki. Khane tk k paise nhi h unlog k paas. Bs unke father k ghr h usi me pade rehte h ya kisi kisi se maang k khate rehte h. Mera to genetic problem h ye hume to lena hoga hamesha. Aur aksar case me life time lena padta h pr aap apne doctor se ache se puchiye wo kya btata h.
