I have to do this... Because at times, I have been brilliant, witty, much like R Brand or R Williams; hypomanic; but very spiritual, very enthusiastic, very creative, very motivated, and very enlightened, as well as impacting greatly on those around me. Medication KILLS the real me, so I refuse to touch them, but I must learn self control, which will take much time.

Thank you for this video. I have experienced a lifetime of medications and therapy in order to reach the same conclusions that you present here. I finally came to believe that I could enjoy being me. Seriously, I have never been more happy and productive than I am now at age 62. Spread the word.

I want this to be true. It sounds like a great technique. I'll give it a try but I am so scared of having another trigger then going back to step 1. Whew! Scary as heck.

your definition of recovery sounds like my definition of hell. to still be *feeling* the pain just as bad even if i don't outwardly react to it (not too far off from what i already do) for the rest of my life, i just can't deal with that. i'm glad it works for some people but no thank you for me

BTW, for those of you who haven't seen that series, it's quite a watch. Also, I have to say I love the new paradigm you're proposing; the world is still obsessed with pathology, great to see people trying to change that (in many cases quite harmful) mode of thinking. Thank you for that

I think this is an amazing way to look at BiPolar. After all we were born this way. It makes perfect sense that we can learn to live with it and not be a danger to ourselves or others. Plus be able to manage our Hypo Mania, that makes us better than normal, so it doesn't trigger a depression state. I viewed all the free readings and I am ready for the course. Thanks so much for all you did in all the research.

I am about to try functional medicine. Find what nutrients are deficient. Work from the inside. I am going off Lithium. I am meditating and not only practicing self-control but practicing taking control. I don't believe there is Bipolar, just causes of these symptoms and if I can figure out what these are and try to fix them - plus being rigorous in other supportive ways then I can live with it. I wish you all well. Send me some good vibes while I taper off the wonder drug.

Jen G. Pywell hey that’s great. I’m thinking about doing some testing too. I’ve been stable on Li for 9 years and I’m doing really well. I got married and want to have a baby so I plan to taper off later this year. With God I have healed a lot of my heart issues. I’m very cautious and in the past I’d never consider doing this, but after some research and having so much peace, I’ve decided I will go for it under doctor supervision.

I think this is a fantastic idea, IF one is willing to learn everything needed and have the support of those necessary around. I have forwarded this on to people I trust.

@melisified I have not needed medication for five years, but that does not mean other people who have not made the effort should stop taking theirs. You need to get your Bipolar IN Order instead of leaving it in disorder first.

Good afternoon. My name is Robert Green. I have been off of my medications since July of 2012 and am actually better when it comes to being innovative and creative. I am just looking to get more balanced. I now am in the self mastery stages as I have learned to use this so called weakness to my benefit as strength as a poet, writer, and student. I am looking to be a counselor and having my own establishment and may want to use your material as part of the curriculum.

In schizophrenia, you have to ignore the hallucinations and they will vanish like they aren't even there.

I don't understand why this gibberish does not get more negative comments. Are they censored? Where is the technique, what does this guy say one should do, concretely, to "be comfortable" with ruining your life, breaking up with your mate, losing your job etc...? And, by the way Nash ("a beautiful mind") did not have bipolar disorder but was schizophrnic, very different. And most bipolar people never have hallucinations.
@GwynneBloodgood6 жыл бұрын
No. He does not advocate negative behavior. He's saying that breaking up with your mate, losing your job etc. IS the dysfunction. Being manic in and of itself is not the problem. People choosing negative actions like the ones you mentioned is the problem.

Would this work for psychosis too? My Spirit, my spontaneity died when I was told of my diagnosis - like I've been socially labotomised. If I begin to enjoy my music on a train journey it worries me. So sad.

We have a full course on our website and certify those who prove that they can in-fact function highly while deeply depressed or highly manic. We welcome you to take the course and pursue certification. Without it, the materials are protected by copyright and you cannot use them in your own curriculum. Whether one is on or off meds has little to do with it.

@GHDrumBum You may have been out of control when people said you were, but that does not mean that you cannot. We tech people how to be in control in all states.

The best way to contact us is through our website which is in the first line in the description to each video. We have many more videos there too along with a free course teaching the concepts of how to make Bipolar IN Order a reality in your life.

Do you feel that in order to eventually get to this level of self-mastery folks suffering from bipolar disorder should should gradually over time wean themselves off their medicine? I am worried of become dependent on Adderall for my ADHD as that medicine contains similar composition to meth. I feel that having ADHD makes coping with my bipolar episodes much harder. I find that it is very difficult for me to recover from episodes without medicine. I am just wondering if it may be possible for me to get to a point where neither effect me as strongly as they do now. I know I have gotten better with dealing with episodes since I was diagnosed last year. I am 21 years old and hope that I can lead a more nurotypical life over time. Let me know if you have an answers or suggestions.
@BipolarAdvantage8 жыл бұрын
We have helped thousands of people and have learned something interesting from that. Those who make it about getting off meds usually don't get to mastery where they no longer need them. Those who make it about self-mastery get to a point that they either don't need meds or still use meds but much less of them. Better to stay on the meds for now until you are handling all of the states that will come when you start cutting back. We encourage everyone to not make med changes until they have taken our eight week course and have put the lessons into practice. If you start weaning off meds now and don't have the understanding and skills you will likely fail. We see that all the time.
