Sawing up birch turning blanks and a cherry cant. Just a relaxing day running the sawmill.

We used to use birch plywood for cabinet side panels and solid birch for stiles and rails in the face frames! Nice variety of wood!

We’ve milled a few small birch , it’s not to bad. Looks like yours turned out pretty good . Good job.

The birch looked pretty. I've never sawn it before. We have what I call bendy birch along the driveway to the sawmill...every time we get snow they bend over and block the driveway...after years of putting up with them they had to go.

Birch is hard to find here. Some states have tons but northern Ohio not so much.

Ha ha, I'm guilty of second guessing what I put in the slab pile. I'm wondering if your birch may actually be aspen. (?)

It looked dark in the video but it was white bark

My wife and I enjoy your videos. Good job. Seem to be well edited. We cringe at all your heavy back work, my back is bad at age 70 so we are especially sensitive. I like your roof, but I cannot help but think you would really benefit from a dust collector on the outlet of the head. I added one to my HM130Max. It really kept the interior of the head clean and helped immensely with sawdust everywhere. Wish I know how to send you pictures. Paul Rentmeester

A lot of my videos are shot with light behind me which makes the sawdust show up. Sometimes it looks much worse than it is. I kind of like that swirling effect lol...
