Love the cards Laura. Re the tape runner, take the lid off the tape runner and turn the wheel to tighten the tape. I can't promise it won't happen again but just repeat each time and you should be able to use most of the tape. Glue is definitely less trouble.

Laura - such cute cards & the envelopes just add to the perfection! They also make great winter cards. Yes, I have the same problem with tape-runners! Finally realized that liquid glues work just as well (if not better). Plus they go a long way, so are much cheaper in the long run!

The tape runner usually does that based on the angle you hold it, either too high or too low. I personally don't know how to fix it, but I know there is a way. One of my crafting friends has the magic touch and always fixes mine 😆 I feel your pain!

These are just so cute. I love them. We feed squirrels and birds. Don't use a birdhouse as a feeder. Birds will use a birdhouse to build a nest but it needs to be the right type for the birds you are trying to attract as well as placed in the right area. Some birds are okay with it being out in the open, others want it close to trees. You need to read up on the kinds of birds you have in your area.

Dear Laura - Very cute birdhouse cards. Love the colors. You're already heading for spring. IDK what to tell you about birdhouses and not attracting any birds... bluebirds only like a certain type of house and many birds probably prefer a nest. You have at least a couple of kids left at home -- put one of them on research duty using the phone or computer and see what they come up with. L in PA

I have the same problem with tape runners. Sometimes I press too hard and I think that might cause that issue. Love the card.

Love these cards. Make sure your pressing evenly across the tip of the runner so it doesn't fall off to one side and do that. Also I keep lots of my cards and found tape runners usually stop sticking and parts fall off my cards. So now I use all glue.

I periodically have had my tape runner refill do that. I remove the cartridge and wind it ahead by hand.

I always have trouble with any tape runners. I also have a problem with scoring paper. I mess up so much cardstock it's crazy. By the way, very cute card.

I stopped buying tape runners as they all do that to me. Too expensive to waste money on them. Especially up here in Canada where everything is almost double in price. 😢. I really like this die set! May end up purchasing this set in the spring. 😊❤️🇨🇦
