Just made Bird Milk Cake Recipe turned out so beautiful and I did save some buttercream for the top and a boarder all around. Then added a heart in the middle. Tried a small slice, was so good mmmmm. but I think it needs to sit in the fridge over night. The layers still has not absorbed the buttercream. I had fun making this cake. Thank you for this video

This is the way I always make it but with zavarnoi krem ( which also made on stove) try it if you haven't yet. Let it sit in fridge overnight and next day let it out and just leave it out it's amazing. I never tried this cream , I'll have to try it :)

Barev Heghine Jan, I've been making this cake since I was 12 or 13 and have always had a tough time with rolling my out the dough. You show it very well and thank you for the little tips throughout the video, helped me perfect my recipe. My version is a portion and a half but i can barely make 4 layers out of it. What's your secret when rolling out the dough? Also, I can't seem to get rid of the buttery taste of the frosting, though I did whip it really well and even added a hint of condensed milk. Love all of your videos!!!!

Few days ago I did layers. Unfortunately with buttercream I mess up. This time I want to do with whip cream and sour cream. And also instead of ganache I want to put mirror glaze. If I don't have honey can I put sugar?

Yup, it is a version of a honey cake, not bird's milk. Bird's milk is a mousse on a basis of egg whites.

I've made this once before and it turned out amazing! I've been trying to do it again numerous times throughout the last week, and each time, the dough starts turning into something more like pie crust (and it's greasy from the butter). I don't add more than the 1.5 cups of flour. Any thoughts on what I could be doing wrong??

Hi, i really like to bake, and i am usually good in baking, i follow your recipe, and the dough was so oily and sticky, i cant roll the layers, only with my hands i tried to make circles, i baked them and now don't know is it worth to make a cream or put into garbage my effort :( something is not working out! I call my mom she puts 350 gram flour and 2-3 spoon of oil and its always works perfect, will stick with Mom recipe, but wanted to try yours:)

Diksen sorry to hear that, it means you over cooked the honey -butter , you only need to melt those then add the eggs-sugar Make the cream, the cake will turn out perfect
