Do you use the AF for BIF Mark with the A1? I find that it is less effective for BIF. I get better results shooting with direct AF using your AF settings for the A7RIV are better than bird eye AF on the A1.

Mark, I've had ebikes for years. You'll need a special bike rack specific to an ebike. That way, you can take your bike anywhere with you. I've ridden everywhere in Texas it is the bike rack makes it practical. Make sure it's designed for bikes, otherwise it can't hold the weight of the bike. Good luck, ebikes are fantastic!

I have an off road electric bike and have used it several times while birding. It’s great to cover large distances, but it is very heavy, despite it being compact, and I have a lot of trouble getting it into the back of my trunk, just like you! My next vehicle purchase will be a truck or a an SUV with a larger cargo / trunk area to fit it. Using an e-bike is the way to go for extensive shoreline locations. Great video as usual, Mark! I really enjoyed it. 👍

Hey Mark. That A1 makes me nauseous it’s so good. Anyway when I was living in Ft. Myers in the distant past, I lived in a nice subdivision that had canals running thru it. Anyway they killed one big Gator that was making itself a pest and found several small pet collars in his stomach ! Poor Phoo Poo ! Several Ladies in the community were placed on Sedatives after this incident when the collars were identified ! 🤣 Well that’s Florida Living !
