I did this particular course with Mark and I would say without hesitation, it was one of the best workshops ever. Mark knows the birds activities so well that we mere mortals get to capture some of these amazing birds. He is a great communicator and it shows in his workshops too! Recommend this to all his fans to visit him, you will love it.

Great reminder of the time I spent with you a few years ago at this amazing place. Some of my best Spoonbill images for sure. I have had the A1 for a few days. I would describe it as "sticky." It seems to stick to the birds like nothing I have ever shot with before which is fantastic. Getting used to the new menu system is challenging, but early days with the camera is impressive. Nesting time in Florida is great. The birds are so predictable flying back and forth gathering and delivering their nesting material.

Incredible photography as always Mark. These videos work perfectly well for people who have no interest in cameras as well, which is a testament to how good they are. Great to see you use & report on the A1/200-600 combo. I can't wait for the more "full" review. A9ii user about to move up to the A1 (and yes i have the S200-600 - wonderful lens).. ok that out of the way lol.. this is probably the most STUNNING bird images you've ever had in a video.. Every single shot (esp of the Spoonbills) is Masterful.. so sharp, clean, and colors just POP. So, i give this video 100% EPIC'ism ranking.. one technical catch (i think)..is at 1:55 the settings show ISO 800 600mm f/5.6 & 1/2,500 .. i thought at 600mm the S200-600 only shot at f/6.3.. Mark Smith.. the best story-teller on KZbin.. hands down.

There were some nice head on shots of birds coming into roost since it was getting late. There were also lots of heron and egret nests.
