Bird doesn't leave the prey long enough for them to grab it, like it can't decide which to feed. Eventually, prey items will be too large for the late hatchling to eat it.

Unusual. This is definitely taken from the clips of the 1st nest of Mynas this channel covered about two years ago but the first half is when the runt has already starved to death then later the second half shows the runt still alive but shortly before it died.

Nature is cruel, but that's how it is and you shouldn't intervene...The mother will only feed those who are strong and have a chance of surviving and will leave aside those who don't. Nature has a very simple and basic rule that it always respects. : For one or some to survive-survive...Another-others must die. It is like that and you should not INTERVENE. There is no common sense or heartfelt feelings here.... That's Mother Nature. AND IT'S PERFECT
