Very nice fin design. With that wide tail most of the Bar of Soap shapes that I've tried a Giant Twin fin is nice as well. I like how clean his lines are. And how thin his tail is! Great job.

As you say. Excuse my rudeness if that was how it was percieved. I must be getting edgy in my later years. I will be as detailed and accurate as I can when commenting on direct subject matters. This is the first in a series of on going interviews with various people involved in all things surf. Please feel free to comment at any times. I really appreciate you giving it a watch.

Thank you Bird. I've seen your other videos and my best advice is to direct the shapers as if they are under a microscope. Show more close up shots of the rails, rocker and get some feed back on there home breaks and recommend spots to use each board. Other than that keep up the good work and collect a video fee for post production. For some strange reason they all think this work should be for free.

It's unfortunate there were no questions about Mitsven's background and experience to start the interview. He seems like a reluctant participant and such questions may have eased him into it. I watched the whole series and with the exception of part 3 , feel there are many unasked / unanswered questions about the boards It's a shame more thought and preparation didn't go into it.... I see it as a missed opportunity to pick the brain of one of the better shapers of our time.

Very cool. I like that you guys are discussing a board other than a regular old thruster. Keep showing the unique designs. Bird, was that you on American Pickers?

Thanks for your opinions but the impact of your statements are some what diluted by the use of the word dude. This post was a casual conversation with nice guy and talented shaper focusing on a few of his current shapes at the time, nothing more and nothing less. No history lessons or claims to fame. Just two guys talking surfboards.

The word dude refers to : a man; a fellow( or is used to express approval, satisfaction, or congratulations / or well fitted and lack of worldly knowledge outside the city). It has been used since 1870. However, the craft and art of shaping is sacred and to know the roots will get you more respect in this industry and will also keep your crowd of internet viewers loyal. Critiques are good! Be worried when people say nothing. Your show is good just more facts please...

It's sad that a local San Diagan will not credit Joe Bauguess as the inventor of the Mini Simmons. It's just casually said to be a spin off...sorry dude..you'll have to do your homework. As a critique you don't just put a quad setup as an aesthetic but more for functionality.

mateojdesigns simmer down. Every review of a Thruster doesn’t reference Simon Anderson.

For the quad fin set up it’s not just for looks I have one of these boards in 6”3 and I love it especially the quad fin it would not ride as good with any other setup
