I first tried swiss warbler bird whistles about 2 years ago! In this video, I take a second look with those same exact whistles, and I also think of a few tips along the way to help you get started making a sound on them! I hope you find it helpful =^w^=

make sure to put pressure on it with your tongue and make sure you can direct air. Sometimes it can take a while to get the hang of it, since it is like learning an instrument, but you may just not be blowing out enough air.

@@legoswallowingtutorials set the metal on your side teeth, the ones beside your 2 front teeth and make a seal ontop of your mouth. Then channel air through the gap between your tounge and the plastic with your tounge barely touching the plastic

I have never seen good instructions on this. What I do is this; Do not get it too wet. You want it slightly flexible, but not too limp. Push it in the roof of your mouth, towards the front. The perfect spot is where the outer edges of it push against the back of your k9 teeth. You’ll feel it kind of lock in to place. Push the tip of your tongue against the arch of the metal clip. Then, simultaneously stroke your tongue down across the plastic diaphragm while making a “ts-the” sound. Let me explain “ts-the” better. “Ts” means you have to have to start with a quick, sharp, directed shot of air. If you don’t push air hard enough at the beginning, there won’t be enough velocity to make the diaphragm vibrate. The “the” part… Say the word “The”. Notice what your tongue does when you say it. It begins at the roof of your mouth, then pushes down across the back of your teeth. Your tongue should do this motion, but instead it should push down across the metal clip, then the plastic diaphragm in a quick motion.

Hey! I got a few and a good tip is to put it just behind the front of your tongue and press it to the top of your mouth. You don't want it up near your teeth. If you're having troubles getting a sound at first say "cheese" or or just make a "ch" sound and it'll make squeaks. That's how I got started anyways! You're probably better at this than me lol, but I'm kinda decent. I can make clear squeaks and I'm practicing a way to roll my tongue while I squeak. It's pretty difficult but you learn fast! Tysm for the amazing content! :D

I had been trying for 2 days! Thank you! It's not like blowing bubbles but rather exhaling with your entire mouth after climbing a steep hill. I still can't get a proper bird call but it's much better now.

Well now that you’re having so much fun with the Swiss warbler you should go find something called A swizzle it’s a little device that fits in your rif of your mouth and people have learned how to talk through this when they do puppet shows I am blind and I’ve got some sighted people looking for the Swiss warbler so I can try and do this myself you’re very entertaining and very enjoyable to listen to thanks

Hi RenardFox, I think it's time for round three, but this time use my whistle! It's much easier, even kids can do it. The Wacky Whistle also allows you to do a larger variety of sounds. Shoot me a message and I'll send you one :D

Is it supposed to sit at the top of your mouth without your tongue making it. Because it just keeps falling down to my tongue at the bottom of my mouth and won't stay at the top? Everyone makes it as if gravity doesn’t exist when using these things

👍👍😉 my nose has made a couple of those whistle sounds before but honestly all i kept thinking about was scooby and shaggy (Mathew Lillard as Shaggy)when Scooby rips one and Shaggy stops turns around and says "Are you challenging me?" and then they blow it up but its when Daphne walks in and Shaggy realizes she's standing behind him is what I couldn't stop thinking about watching you remember how to use this thing. Lol

Watch wacky whistles they also make the same product but without the metal bar and it forms to the upper part of your roof of your mouth and it’s a lot easier to use plus it’s only like five bucks so nine bucks from Amazon I’m not trying to undermine you or anything else like that I’m just trying to help out if this is an approved then you can take it down.
