A lot of birds have adapted to walking on cactus thorns, it's pretty cool seeing how desert animals have adapted to survive.

Chia Lee yes there is a queen and those are the queens, and there are also drones to mate with said queen in this species drones fight amongst themselves to claim a mate aka a queen, which can even result into one of those bee balls with fighting males on the outside and one queen in it

Athicuz Not all types of bees work in a colony. These bees are a solitary species. Technically all females can reproduce its just that in a colony type they remain sterile by the queen in order for them to stay workers.

JustCallMeDevil Because there are many bees available as food source during the few days they mate. And wasps are very important for ecosystems as well. They have an impact on pollination too by the way and as predators they help keeping things in balance. So just because they may annoy you, they are far from being useless.

What happens if the bees aren't crushed up very well before they're swallowed? Can they still sting the inside of the bird's or lizard's stomach?

PlayMoGame they crush them so you can be sure the bees are dead and even if they stay alive till the belly they will find harsh temperature and pression and even at the moment they arrive they sting the bird from inside I must remind you dude that bowels have no epidermis so the bird won't feel anything
