I'm an avid birdwatcher and I'm tired of people assuming that I'm using my telescope to view scantly-clad women on the beach or in the park. I usually use high-powered binoculars for that.

Besides, if the woman is at the beach or the park (and NOT in a place where she might expect privacy, like inside a building), then anyone can see it and she shouldn't expect any privacy.

@@red_five3325 Back in the 90’s a friend of mine had to stop going to the pool because a couple weird guys wouldn’t stop taking photos of her while she was sunbathing. They watched her every time she was there like weirdos. The owner of the pool said he couldn’t ask them to stop because it was their right. I can only imagine what they did with the photos. It was actually kind of scary.

Hi Dr. Grande...My name is Kevin Sullivan and I'm a true crime writer. I wrote about the Heather Teague/Marvin Dill case years ago and interviewed Tim W. and the commander of KY State Police Post 16, as well as the detective (in a nearby small town) who worked the case of the woman sexually assaulted in a Kentucky cemetery that he absolutely believed was committed by Marvin Ray Dill. Plus, a number of calls to the police pointing the finger at Dill came from those who knew him. Oh, and the Evansville detective who arrested Dill after he was caught trying to pick up young girls, told me that he believed if he hadn't arrested Dill that day he would have killed someone. Anyway, you'll find that story in a book titled: Unnatural Causes, which I co-authored with Gregg Olsen a few years ago. Take care, Kevin

Thanks, Dr. Grande. I was unfamiliar with the Heather Teague disappearance. What a sad, scary and ridiculous story. I’m reminded of the Alfred Hitchcock movie ‘Rear Window.’ A man with a beard emerging from the woods and dragging a woman back into the woods seems like the cartoon caveman cliche. Maybe Marvin Dill or whoever the perpetrator was read the comic ‘B.C.’ by Johnny Hart when he was a kid and became obsessed with certain images.

I sometimes sunbathe at local rivers ... Out on the rocks. Even though I always have a phone and pepper spray, I never actually close my eyes and relax because scenarios like this go through my mind continuously. Even though I'm usually on rocks that are actually out in the water, I envision people with all kinds of weapons or even doing something like throwing a large rock at my head from a distance & then attacking etc .. which is totally possible. .. Even if people are in a group, they (or at least one person) should be alert at all times. ... This is such a a sad and scary story. 😥💔🙏

That, and the fact someone saw her fighting w/a guy in a car that looks just like the one reported by a second witness too late and discarded by police. The tarp on the ground by her car, the open trunk and the police cannot put 2+2 together; meaning someone else picked up the perp w/her and took off. One had the disguise on- wig and bug hat w/netting? (Not found at suicide residence.) At least 2 people doing things that could have helped her, no one could; and, sadly, more than likely two got away with murder, and one is on the loose.

A .380 doesn't have as much stopping power but its slim and light. The gun you don't wear does you no good.

Heather Teague's family has issued lawsuits alleging that there are two (or perhaps three) disparate initial 911 calls made regarding Heather's abduction. They said that over the years, the police had played two completely different supposed 911 calls made, and had purported them as "the only singular 911 call made", yet the family affirms that in one of the calls the dispatcher was a woman, and in the other call, the dispatcher was a man. The family is alleging that one of the 911 calls was faked by some rogue elements within the police department.

Pretty soon a bunch of 'good guys' are probably going to be coming after the psychiatrists too for what they've done to people, and it's probably just gonna be a fucken slaughterhouse.

Don’t be stupid. If he’d been taken alive he almost certainly would have at least told them where her body was in the end.

@@icturner23 Not if he's done it before, and regalia in his truck points to others. Didn't want her to know what a fiend he was; also maybe had a partner in the murder. They didn't find that wig/bug hat, and serial murders rarely tell where the body is because their lawyers tell them to say nothing. Unless it's execution x...and there's no chance of a reprieve. Even then, w/wife children not likely to admit to anything.

Whoever gave Tim BirdLover the alibi was quite clever as bird is English slang. I'm not sure anyone but Mrs. Tim BirdLover cares what he was doing with his telescope as we were all topless sunbathers in the 90's thanks to Fergie and the monarch-generated People scandal to make Prince Andrew look innocent in the divorce 😂 Grandma kept me fully informed.

Interesting and well-reasoned as always. Also convincing as to Marvin having been the lone killer. I do wonder what become of the other suspect and how many other victims he had after leaving Kentucky.

The fact that that tarp was unused by the driver's side door, and the trunk open leaves me w/the feeling it's possible they could have been acting together. One to get the OTHER vehicle, one to hide her disabled or drugged (her trunk) until that second vehicle shows up. The use of chloral hydrate works so fast on the beach, or where he got her out of sight,,(w/gun as the birdwatcher thought he had). If she came to and started fighting w/driver in her vehicle wouldn't be surprising. Too bad the police discarded that witness. These creeps look alot alike from pics and from a distance even more so, but if one wore a bug/netting hat and wig(how did LE know this, were those two items found?), it would be a great cover for at least one of them to escape detection. The guy looking at arrest killing himself means to me there's more murders in his repertoire of offenses; he could have been the one getting rid of the body. And avoids being on the hot seat for?s about other cases of missing girls...and an accomplice, w/the wig, and face coverings. They have done it before is my guess; came prepared. Horrible and it it has to be a warning about being alone on any beach. (Having no idea of the location, it's strange to me why the wig/face coverings if no one around? Was it obvious a birdwatcher could be looking at her, the beach? Or could it have been the birdwatcher, called police after the deed?)

I have binoculars that I frequently take with me to parks and when I go camping. I don't take them either for bird watching or to spy on women, the truth is more embarrassing. I take them because it makes me feel like a cool adventure person exploring the wilderness. Plus they're fun because they make far away stuff bigger. 😂
