This one feels like it fits her like a glove. It’s delicate, subtle, detailed, elaborate, personal… and her voice really shines. The previous album was excellent in its own right, but it was overproduced… and further away from who she really is (modest, subdued, introvert).

9 years ago when my son used Birdy's first composition "Without a word" to choreograph a lyrical dance for a 14 years old girl, I started wondering how a 15 years old girl can write a song like that.
