Birgitta Evengård is a Professor of Infectious Diseases at Umeå University, Sweden with a background in parasitology (K.I.). Expertise on infectious diseases and climate change in the north.
The lecture was given in connection to a two day conference on "Ethical Perspectives on Health Impacts of Climate Change" at Umeå Folkets hus (22-23 September 2022), hosted by The Nordic Committee on Bioethics.
