water storing in the sump is👍 excellent, but the water flow into the bore well on a long run may errode the wall of the well leading sludge in the bore well (depending on the terrain down below). Can you please check the bore well after one rainy season and make a video on it.

If you feel that there will be errodication in the long run, you may use slow leaving pit method into the bore well, that Will allow the water into the borewell slowly and consistenly so that no issues of errodication in the long run

You could connected another outlet pipe from sump to the Borewell, when the rain water fills the Sump the overflow could have routed to the borewell automatically. That means no need for that extra valve to manually switch between Sump to borewell and vice Vera by turning valve on or off or vertically or horizontally... This would just manual effort and also to not to rely on human intervening at every rain. Hope this change is made to your RWH system.

Directly pouring water into borewell is not advisable at all.. very soon and frequently u will get mud sediments and it will damage motor and pipes.. which will give u frequent expense.. instead u should pour it into a ground water recharge pit near by bore well to recharge the borewell water.

Will it work for 200 feet bore? No.. the video explained method will not get mud in to borewell.. two filtration system will remove all sand particles.

@@ashoksiva1982 when u pour water from top of the borewell, the water flow from top will erode the soil from its side walls and that will get sediment as mud at the bottom. There is no use of 2 filtration or 20 filtration done above the ground level. Borewell is not designed to fill water from above the ground. It has to refill from the ground.
