Don't worry, I am from Birmingham UK, the UK's Second Largest City of which Birmingham Alabama is named and I get fed up with people on the You Tube channel pronouncing my City incorrectly calling it Birmingum or Birminium. Like your City it is called BIRMING-HAM and I agree with your correction of the name. A bit of History the name Birmingham stems back to Anglo Saxon times when Birmingham was a medieval Village calle Beomingaham, which meant the Hamlet of the Tribe Boermingha, latre on A family took over the small town called the De Bermingham Family which over the Years was changed to Birmingham, but nice to see my Cities name sake in the USA
