Blues fan here, never a penalty, they both slipped, but remember, you got a pen for a foul a yard outside the box last year. Can't see why players celebrate in front of the opposition, except the Villa, after all the fan bases don't hate each other. I think we got a bit lucky yesterday but we have had some bad luck this season too, so I'm just going to enjoy it while I can. Really glad to see Albion in their home kit, it irritates me when teams change even though there is no colour clash. Good luck for the rest of the season, at least until we meet at the Hawthorns.

Good video, fella.👍 Loads of fellow Bluenoses by me, to your left, were amazed when ref pointed to the spot when Koji slipped. It got us back into the game. We took our chances and played some good stuff and had a solid defence, but I felt the Baggies played well too. The Baggies play some very good football; some quality passing. I have nothing against the Baggies as they have suffered over the years, like us. It's those in B6 I save my dislike for. Let's hope we're both in the Play-off hunt come end of season. 🙂👍

I think var has its pros and cons. For example that penalty would never have been a pen with var however var rules out goals for stupid reasons as well. I think I prefer human error haha it’s more forgiving. Hopefully var isn’t introduced in the championship. Cheers for the support. At the end of the day, Swift did it first by celebrating in front of the Blues fans and goading the. Sanderson saw that and gave it back. If you don't like celebrating in front of the opposition fans then condemn your own players too

I initially thought the ref had got this wrong. However, from this angle at 4.44, the player has gone in both feet first. He does then slip, but that's because he's already on his heels.

Blues fan here mate. After watching it 100 times, it was a penalty but very unlucky cuz he slipped into it. It changed the match but that's what goals do ainnit. You had a lot of possession in the 2nd half but we put our chances away. I think you're just as likely to be up there challenging for play offs as we are, crazy league as always. disagree with Albion being the better team thru out possession don’t win games goals do and blues had more chances then Albion especially after the goal apart from the Darnell furlong chance did Albion really cause us any problems for a great claw away from the line by the keeper it would have been 4-1 as the error at the back was going in the penalty as I’ve said loads of time kipre don’t sleep he goes in 2 footed not the strongest of 2 footed challenges but that’s what the ref has seen the intent so bit harsh but look back at the one at the hawthorns last season when the foul was miles outside the area and was given as a penalty so evens itself out really

I thought Albion started strong amd looled like they would go on, the penalty definitely chamged the game, West Brom just couldn't recover from it.
