as someone from birmingham I find this hillarious, when you use brummy dialect without the accent I couldn't work out what you were saying like boozz and buz for example. However can say that these are accurate especially in older people

Are the words spot on? I've never heard someone call a bus a buzz. Never heard the word blartin' ever before. Yam Yam is also not a word that's used in Birmingham anymore (We're talking 30 years+). Not to mention his accent isn't really a brum one, it's more Black Country, which is significantly different.

coming from Birmingham I didn't know that gambol was a local word! Outdoor instead Off-Licence is another. Does wagging school get used elsewhere- I used to get funny looks down south whenever I said I'm on the wag meaning I was having an unofficial duvet day from work. We also had the school wag man who would turn up at your house if you missed school. In the days before everyone had a telephone, which were boxes with wires you kept in your hall back then and not in your pockets.
