Beautiful homes, each very different reflecting their owner’s aesthetics. Mr Bates is one of the few featured on Homeworthy who, when crediting those who did different types of work in his home, mentions their names in full, not just referring to them by their first names or their profession, kudos.

The amazing wall of books with the spiderweb window is pure magic. Love everything about this home and his collections. I especially loved when he said he always wanted to live in the attic. I am 73 and ever since I was a little girl and saw the Shirley Temple movie The Little Princess.. I always dreamed of living up in the attic with that cozy little window. I would decorate it in my mind. Oh my imagination made me so happy.

I have been desiring a kitchen that lives as a living room, and the Paul Bates kitchen is wonderful, what a calm, perfect space, and for that matter the entire house and tour, Paul Bates shows a combination of great taste, creativity and focus/vision, and most of all his love of home. ❤

I love this house. But it is amazing to me how grown people with their own money think about what other people think of their home. I really like this gentleman because he often remarked how despite what others thought he should or should not buy or use, he did what HE wanted to do. To me, luxury is the freedom and finances to follow one's own sensibilities.

I am from the lower, poverty class. One thing from this divine house that gives me joy and an to use in my own home is the natural white used on the walls. Actually I plan to colour drench the rooms and furniture with Dulux natural white. Honestly such a calming, grounding and also classy colour that speaks to being wealthy. ❤

All the houses are nice but personally I fell in love with Mr James's house. Everything he has is fantastic. There ia a big difference though when someone rents a house and doesn't own as he isn't allowed to renovate it. Although I rent an apartment I have decorated with things which interest me such antiques and vintage items and heirlooms. Appreciating art is my passion. I always mix and match various things and textiles together to see how well they work together.

I love his idea of decorating your home with things that tell about you and the travels you have made. He has an absolutely beautiful home and mine reminds a bit of his. It is also full of things I have collected, in my case, from my home country Sweden and from my travels in Europe. However the things that are in my house are mostly from flea markets and not from expensive antique stores. Nevertheless each item is beautiful with a meaning and a story behind it. My thought is that when I'm older I can walk through my home and reminisce around my past and all the places and nooks I've traveled to. Thank you so much for inviting me into this beautiful home.

James Carter: beautiful house and contents. I admire his resolve to go against the prevailing fads and his taking inspiration from the Imari porcelain lamp to which he has family connections; same re the checkerboard floor in the entrance hall. His taste is masculine, refined, and balanced; no ostentatiousness or over the top excess; except books, not a thing to have too many of. The lacquered walls in the dining room are amazing.

Isn’t this amazing? The thousands of dollars she makes from KZbin videos. Every single month isn’t enough. Now she’s demanding a membership. This is an example of unbridled, greed, and it’s pretty damn outrageous. This is a perfect example of why we can’t afford a loaf of bread anymore. Greed is out of control. The only thing that matters to this channel is money. This mentality is what’s destroying our country.
