Some members of the Two Titty Yacht Club are getting creative and organize a full on monster mash challenge for the group! I am so amazed and proud of the sailing community. I wonder if sailing appeals to a certain type of person, who is so open to sharing experiences and skills with others. Where I live (Wisconsin), our neighbors don't talk to anyone, and often will not wave when you wave back!!! I can only dream of living somewhere that people are so willing to be part of a helping community.

What a cool situation you have there. Certainly would make quarantine more endurable. I made a social bubble with my niece and nephew. She works from home (and has two small kids) and my nephew, nephew-in-law, and brother all work at the same place so as long as it stays out of there, we're all good to hang out. It really has been such a blessing in the rough times. I just haven't been anywhere but the store or with them during this whole thing.

Fun episode! Your "social bubble" yacht club had an equivalent of the commune years ago - individuality among a community that would be able to fix/solve/have fun/community meals/barter system. Our society could use a lot more socialization (as soon as COVID calms down).

The was so fun to watch. We've been going to Mexico twice a year for several years now. And I have met some amazing people that I still stay in contact with. My life couldn't be more different to this, Currently watching from the middle of England, no sea in sight. During lockdown I have been the stay at home dad and me and my 11 month old love to watch your videos. Its like an escape from normal life, not that we don't love our life but its just great to see you living the dream. I'm a Dane and status in Denmark it's like normal life - with 1 meter distancing and a recommendation to use a face mask in public transportation, but only if there are lots of passengers. The UK and the US are paying big for their initial laissez faire management of the pandemic. UK and US Government couldn't care less about its citizens, and they are blatant arrogant. Readers of this comment should know that this is how people in the Scandinavian countries usually say stuff when one had f*ucked something up. We speak our mind - a no filters bare bone message without a nice wrapping.

I haven't been cruising yet. just local sailing but living aboard for 4 years. leaving the cruisers you come across I feel is such an emotional event, such bonds formed over such short times. following you guys since Australia! and FaceTimed you during your event in Ft Lauderdale from the Bahamas. there was a green bird in the background! lots of love!

I found this channel a few weeks ago and have pretty much caught up on all the episodes. My wife and I built a tiny house 2 winters ago and have visited 29 states and 4 countries putting over 50k miles on her so far, but now we have our little nugget on his way in a couple weeks so we have hit home base in Ohio until he arrives. We will hit the road again in a few months and we have added some sailing classes onto our itinerary because of your channel. You guys are inspiring and motivating to so man. Thanks for the uploads.

Great channel! Been a subscriber for about 6 months. At the end of you video really caught my eye.... I used to fly in those Navy P-3 Orion`s but out here in Hawaii. Nas Barbers Pt. 1982-86. Primary mission is anti-submarine warfare, Sea air rescue (SAR), Mining harbors, Torpedo`s, Harpoon missiles, and on occasion insert Navy SEALs. My Squadron was VP-1 Screaming Eagles crew 9, now stationed at Nas Whidbey Island Washington. The P-3 at the end of your video with that big radar antenna is most likely US Customs/Boarder Patrol. While on deployment we would go out on long range patrols south east of Okinawa in the middle of nowhere and I would find with my radar a cruise liner and we would call up the ships captain and request a fly-by (we call it "rigging the ship" and take pictures of usually Soviet Navy Stuff) The Captain`s always said sure, and announced through the ship that the US Navy is going to do a couple of fly-by`s and everyone would be out on the railing taking pictures of us while we are practicing taking their pictures and "Rigging the Ship" until we found another Soviet target to go after....... Check youtube for "Blind Mans Bluff" explains EVERYTHING about anti-submarine warfare FLY NAVY!!

People dream about getting away from th rat race, but a lot of us would still be unhappy there finding things to worry about and feeling trapped on our boats. These guys built themselves a yacht club and organised games and a group dinner. Many people couldn't organise a dinner for friends in their own house, let along rig electric lighting on a beach. Such a capable group of people.

It has just dawned on me why this video became so important to me, and it was right in front of me the whole time......a 23 minute video with nothing negative...wow, what a wonderful departure from the ugly world we all live in. It's how things was like before the cell phones. It's funny that the young generation are surprised when I tell them there was no smartphone, and no feature phone with SMS. They ask questions like: What did you do if the other one didn't answered the phone. I called them later, ofen more than once, because they didn't answered the phone, or I walked, bicycled or drove to the place I think they were.
