While nothing is predictable in labor and delivery, I am laying out my birth preferences. This includes a plan for naturally starting labor, an induced labor, and a c-section.

After 2.5 years of battling infertility we welcomed our little baby girl Evangeline into our family on July 18th, 2019. We are currently pregnant via IVF to continue to grow our family. I've had children in the UK and gas and air is the first pain meds they offer you. It is so great, I'm in Cyprus now and they dont have it!! I'm so gutted I'm trying to source some to bring with me to the hospital 🤣 I love your birth plan, realistic yet optimistic, perfect 💖

I had the injections and how you described it was exactly how I experienced it! I was gone... out asleep 😴 The BAM excruciating pain... then out again! It was a wild ride! Xxx

Thank you so much for sharing this!!! I totally relate to wanting an unmedicated birth as a way to heal the resentment I feel towards my body after 7 miscarriages. I am also aware that I am a wuss and might wimp out and get the epidural anyway, but so far the plan is to go as long without it as possible. I'm supposed to be writing my birth plan over the next couple weeks, so this video was really helpful and at the perfect time for me! Question--how long are you planning to stay in the hospital after birth?

So sorry you have had to go through so many miscarriages and hopefully this birth gets to be a positive experience. My hospital said to expect a 2 day stay after a vaginal birth(so that doesn't include any time in labor) and a 3 day stay after a c-section. I am going to try and bust out of there as fast as possible though :D

I can relate to you so much... 1. I am high risk because of my medical conditions and may need a c-section also 2. I dont want the cervix ripening pills because they are the same pills I took for my missed miscarriage (which didn't work and I needed a d&c 3. I wanna look at the placenta too :) but they can discard it after 4. my husband will probably pass out during delivery (when he sees blood) :(
