Hi Gabe! I’m fairly new to your channel & follow your vlog channel as well. Congratulations on your blessing Reagan! 🎀💖 Fun fact the reason why there were so many people in the operating room is because there’s a team taking care of you, then there’s a team taking care of your baby as soon as she is born. There also is the anesthesiologist who is keeping you sedated/numbed and monitoring your vitals constantly to be sure you have the correct dose of medication. There’s also a nurse who records the procedure: they call time of the first incision, time of birth, and the time they closed you back up and blood loss. There’s also a nurse who is just assigned to keep all the tools for surgery sterile and they must count every single tool that was used to make sure they didn’t leave anything in you.

Gabe, a peep asked what is the glue that was used on your incision? AS A nurse (RN), I can tell you it is an actual medical-grade glue called Dermabond. It dries in 10 seconds & it helps to limit bacterial infections by providing a strong secure seal of the incision. Gabe, you asked about the "TAP" injections you had for pain. It is an injection of an analagesic given between 2 major muscles. It provides effective pain control for up to 24 hours. I am so glad your Doctor gave you that as it is what made your C-section & recovery so much easier & better than you had with Ceej. You look awesome, Gabe, & Reagan is beautiful!!!

You got me good with that little camera trick. I saw Baby Girl in the crib, and then was engrossed in the story because you were so excited and radiant and when I heard Reagan whimper I looked to the crip and she wasn't there. Gabe you gave the step by step story of how everything happened. Your anxiety level was extremely high before baby Reagan was born and that was natural. It’s all due to the fact you were experiencing high blood pressure and swollen feet. Thank God that she’s here and be extremely grateful that nothing is wrong or went wrong with the C-section. 9 pounds and 2 ounces is a big baby. You can tell that you are happy and we are so happy for you and Chad. You have your beautiful little girl that you have prayed for and over. Many many blessings to you and the family always. The use of the glue instead of staples also makes a huge difference! I had three c-sections total, 2 with staples and the last one they used the glue. Let me tell you, I was amazed at the difference in pain level, comfort in standing, and not having that horrible pulling of the staples. I am thrilled you had a great birth experience aside from Chad Jr not being able to meet her right away. 💗

Thanks Gabe for sharing. I watch GabeBabe too. Reagan is so adorable and I love how Ceej loves on his baby sister. I remember from Gabe Babe how quickly you were up walking around on your own. It was those shots! Wow, it’s amazing how medicinal technology has come a long way even from the time when you had Ceej. I’ve never had a c section. All my children were vaginal deliveries but I have friends who have had c sections and like you said about the time when you had Ceej, it hurt to do anything. I’m so happy for you and your baby girl.
