Uruguay is a good one because if you are born there you can NEVER lose your citizenship forever. It is in the constitution. They can never take it away from you. You can give it up to, say, get another citizenship that requires you to give it up, but you can go down to the consulate the day after your naturalisation and get it back immediately. And Uruguay is at least as first world as some european union nations. Plus it belongs to Mercosur, which gives added benefits in other south american countries.

Although, a lot of Countries have Resumption processes (where you can resume your Citizenship after renouncing it): Australia, Canada and the UK all have it (Although you can only do it twice for the UK)

In ecuador if give birth there the parents for the child will take a permanent stay or citizenship?
@stuarth19967 жыл бұрын
If a person has a child in Brazil, you said the parents would also be eligible for Brazilian citizenship after 1 year(perhaps 2 or 3 years due to other reasons). But the parents of these children would need to get residency in the country(Brazil i this case) for them to do that. I mean they wouldn't be eligible for citizenship if they had a child in Brazil, but were only tourists there, would they? So how would they be allowed to be residents in Brazil? Are they allowed residency if they have a child born in Brazil? Also. besides Brazil and Mexico as you mentioned, what are the other countries where the parents can have their own citizenship's fast tracked through jus soli?

In Brazil there are no law enforcement, everyone can get in and stay forever regardless of nationality, although nobody wants to do it cause Brazil is a 3rd world country.

Can you give me an information! Is Taxas denying birth turism? I have heard so many things lately but not sure about it.
@oliviasummer83566 жыл бұрын
You can't do this easily in Canada anymore. The child cannot stay unless one parent is a citizen. The child can MAYBE sponsor a parent after they turn 18 but, ONLY if they can economically support that parent and ONLY if that parent has zero health issues. If the child cannot support the parent for a minimum of twenty years financially and you have to prove it, then they CANNOT sponsor their parents. Canada is working to stop this and stop birth right citizenship by tourists, visiting students etc.
@nathanbrown4925 жыл бұрын
Most American nations don't allow the parents to stay; including Canada (as you mentioned) and the USA Brazil is one that allows the parents to get Permanent Residence.

The only places where is worth doing it is USA and Canada since europe and asia does not give citizenship by birth. In south America maybe Chile, Argentina and peru the other countries are all third world

I'm pushing my Representatives to end this loophole.
@orenda36967 жыл бұрын
It's not a loophole, it's there by design. More citizens means more tax-slaves for the IRS.
