My wife was due Dec. 15th. The OB/GYN told her that she wasn't going to let her go 10 days past due date. My wife immediately started crying. She exclaimed, "That's Christmas Day!" The doc said, "Ok, 11 days." Our son was born on Dec. 26th. Today, he graduated high school!

Loll my mom was due December 15, and they induced her the day before. I sat on the heart monitor which caused them to perform C-section. But at least I was born on the 15th😀… I’m sorry mom🥹

I was due on December 15th myself. Mom was watching Gunsmoke on TV (back in the 60's, now I"m telling my age!) and it was Dec. 8th. She went into labor with me. She was in labor with my older brother for almost 3 days. She THOUGHT she had time. This was around 3pm in the afternoon. Dad got home from work, gathered her (and I) up and went to my Aunt and Uncles house to deliver some beef and pork (it was butchering time). Then he stopped by the clinic with Mom around 5 pm just before they closed. The doc told Dad to get Mom to the hospital ASAP. Dad got her there at 6pm. I was born at 6:36 pm!

I'm just seeing this vlog now and there were so many similarities with my daughter Cora's birth and Ivey's. Induced at 37&3, dilation escalated very quickly to ten cms, three pushes and she was out and she weight 5lb 10oz. I had gestational diabetes with both of my babies so not type 1 but still a pain! My daughter is now almost 8 and seems so grown up. We also have a 19 month old boy called Senan (we're Irish) and let me tell you he did not come out as easily! I was induced at 40 weeks with him and I swear he was just too cosy in there and needed some suction in that last couple of mins but two very healthy babies and that's all anyone can wish for. Hunter and Dev. I absolutely love you guys. I have been watching you since my son was in my belly about 2 years ago. I had watched this particular video while I was pregnant and now in 2024 I've watched it twice in a row. See, my experience of giving birth was nit what I had thought. My whole pregnancy was just one bog lonely blur. I was on my feet trying to work as much as I could. Couldn't actually enjoy being pregnant, although I found joy when he would move around and kick while I was working late. A couple days after my cervical check I found myself getting contractions way more. Doctor are going to tell me that's normal. Later at 3am we decided to go to hospital, my contractions increased, 2 hours later I had a natural birth. Everything want okay, but my son was taken to nicu after noticing he was having trouble multi tasking eating and breathing. Was in there for 3 weeks. To this day, I regret not holding my son, but in a state of shock, the pain, and couldn't help but feel pure loneliness. That day feels robbed from me because I let it. I want atleast one more,eventually in hopes it will be different and I will be more happy with myself as a mom, wife, and daughter.

Alright, so Ive only recently started following yall and I first came across y'all's shorts this summer, every video that I see makes me laugh and ready to see yall again but i also get this super familiar feeling as if yall are my simi-distant cousins hahaha well anyway I believe it could just be the 'Alabama effect' as I call it..... I'm in Coden, AL("LA").... There are at least one if not more things that make me go 'oh that's weird it feels like I went to church or school with them " or both lol and 'dang it, me too!!/my area had identical events and such'....just had to share because it might be that we are within 100 miles of each other and that might be why I feel like I have been on that delivery floor and in those delivery rooms so many times with my sisters and friends😂🎉😂😋lots of memories flooded my mind with the first hospital clip... becoming a parent we all seem to get our fair share of scares and so many precious moments, Im grateful for both and the lessons and blessings they gave me....... Also, I couldn't resist commenting any more, but most of that rambling is a build up of random thoughts I've 'thought' to comment and just haven't.... Okay so when you put the black screen and text explaining your experience with the epidural....*mind you ive only seen recent 2023 shorts on here and stories on Facebook, also recent, this is the first full video I've watched so maybe I just haven't seen all of Hunter's hairstyles and angles lol....butttttt...okay...all that to say....the clips before the epudural- 'Baby' Hunter & Devin. The clips after the epidural **!Leveling up!**buffering*****'Parents.'*****😅😅😅😅 jk., but fr to see hunters face mature and almost age with the drama and trauma of it all is something I think is so cool about people and to be able to capture it is pretty cool too if you ask me lol. Anyway, lots of love! Y'all are so much fun to watch, hope all is well and the laughter never ends ❤

I love your babies birth story! You guys did great! After losing 3 babies, my daughter and her husband were heartbroken. She then had the IVF procedure. There were only two good eggs, so she had the babies one at a time, two years apart. Both pregnancies took well over 24 hours in labor. Two perfect little girls! Then about 8 months later, they got pregnant again. It was a do-it-yourselfer!. That labor was about 30 hours long. Another beautiful girl! We were so blessed!

Hey!! I was wondering what your blood pressure readings were when you were diagnosed? I have been having some high blood pressure readings but it seems like my nurses/OB are chalking it up to anxiety. I’m 36 weeks and 3 days.

Hey!! A week before I had her I went to maternity eval because I felt really bad and I checked my BP at home and it was consistently 130/90 and then got up to 140s/100. I got hooked up to monitors and stayed there for a few hours; when I got there my BP was still that high but my BP started to go down hours later. I got sent him to do 24 hour urine test and those results came back negative (for preeclampsia) but my BP was 140/88 when I went to turn in my urine. My doctor called and told me to be on bed rest (this was now a Friday) and to come back in Monday. When I went back in on Monday my BP was 144/90 so he told me I would be induced the next day. The nurse made me think it was anxiety related a few days before but I knew better because my BP had been fine until this point. Advocate for yourself mama if you feel like something is up-you know your body more than anyone!

@@Thecordlefamily just had a follow up appointment today! My OB thinks I have gestational hypertension and is doing some blood work to confirm but she said if that is the case she’ll induce me by the end of next week! So excited to meet our little one. 💕

When i had my son the same thing happened to me with the epidural i was panicking because i knew it wasnt normal to be numb all the way up to my chest 😱 Congrats to u both on ur baby !! 🍼 🥰
