@@OceanLover1188 Absolutely. I just didn’t quite notice it until I intentionally stopped that we’re kind of expected to drink everywhere. For most people it isn’t a problem, but if you’re facing any kind of addiction or hardship that ends up being compounded by using substances as a long term crutch, it’s almost like- no wonder! The messaging that we need to be intoxicated around other moms, after yoga, after work, around our kids, holed up at home, out on the weekend- it’s everywhere. And it’s pretty tongue-in-cheek funny until it’s not, which makes this so hilarious.

@@davidthedeaf I'm sorry. That's hard to deal and cope with and is very real. But as a former alcoholic and continually depressed person, it really helps to joke about it. It's not making fun of it, it's finding the humor in the rotten and miserable parts of life. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to cope with my struggles. I NEED to make light of it. You know that's why they used to make tragedies in Shakespeare time to purge us of all of our sadness. And then they started mixing tragedies with comedies because they found people enjoy laughing at things they struggle with. If you want an example of joking about tragedy in a way that's cruel I'd look up the comedy central roast with Steve-O and Amy Schumer making a joke about Ryan Dunn's death straight to his best friend's face. There's a big difference.
