Birthday Traditions I Minimalist & Meaningful Children's Birthday

Love your suggestions. I have a birthday boy coming up a couple weeks after Christmas. Some of our family’s favorite birthday traditions are: - a birthday book (I draw a picture and include information about the child’s interests and the things that make them unique at that age on and endpaper or inside the cover. The back endpaper/cover is signed by family members at our birthday celebration). - I use brown paper as wrapping paper and we draw pictures and decorate it with things that remind us of the birthday child - birthday video (my husband combines all of the videos and a few pictures taken from the past year into one video that we play in the background at the birthday celebration) - homemade birthday cake chosen by the birthday child
