I used to work at a Godrej factory in Malaysia in 1967. Horrible working conditions. It was like going 100 years back. A girl got fired because she did not like the attention she was getting from a Farsi boss. The only thing they were good at was shouting in anger.

Even now , godrej has higly toxic work environment, they don't even give 1 day leave holidays on important festivals like Diwali, holi, etc , and follows 6day work week even in big cities , whereas 5 day work week is the norm for majority of companies in big cities

This kind of separation is pretty common in business community example is marwari business houses of singhanias goenkas birlas bajaj Punjabi khatri business houses of burmans munjals Mahindras and oberois Sindhis business houses like Hindujas hiranandanis genomels and rahejas or Gujarati business houses like ambanis mariwalas parekhs and Dani or Parsis houses like wadias Tatas godrejs or poonawalas. I think these community know how to divide equal profitable group and businesses and choose successor wiser.
