Great thanks for sharing. We (wife and I) are starting to explore the green roads (slowly) around Devon and Cornwall having recently moved back to Devon. Have you heard of the MCC LDT? I've done two now (Exeter and Lands End) and my wife has done the Lands End once. We found them great fun.

MCC LDT, no I haven’t. I will look that up now thanks. :)

So - motor cycle club long distance trails, is that right?

Neither had we until earlier this year when my mate asked if I wanted to give it a go. He’s got some vids in his KZbin. Will ping you a link. Wasn’t sure I’d manage to stay awake but did and loved every minute of it.

Yes that’s the one, sorry I should have written it in full or given you a link!

appreciate this view point as it stops me wasting my time - i like the trails to be much harder ala wales/peaks etc- the cornwall section is useless for me so i thank you for the vids, i had hoped it would hold some nic routes that i could link in with a beach trip but it isn't worth the miles on knobbies - crossing fingers for the devon area as i know there are a shedload of mad trails down there, just not sure if they are TET or not....watching with hope hahaha

@@biscuitsalive I've a 300L like yourself. Was going to have taken it for a group trail riding tour in the Alps but that's cancelled so I figured I might do some trails in Dorset and then around some of Devon time permitting. I only started trail riding this year and I'd be going solo so not looking to do anything overly risky. I've had a bunch of training and been on a led trip in Snowdonia so I'm going into it with my eyes open anyway

@@alexjson sweet. Well if u make it down as far as Cornwall I’m happy to join you on some sections. (I live in hayle) I will do more of Devon soon. But not sure when that’s happening yet
@alexjson2 жыл бұрын
@@biscuitsalive cool, I'll take you up on that if I'm down that way. I've never been to Cornwall so it's definitely on the todo list. Looking forward to the next Devon video when you get around to it

Love seeing the hazards highlighted, far too many TET'ers have a 'iTs An AdVnSHure' attitude when it comes to letting people know things might be hard (never ask if there should be colour grading like for skiing in a TET group, they get quite vitriolic).
@biscuitsalive2 жыл бұрын
If people are planning a big long trip, they want some idea of the main tricky parts. In my opinion. It’s not to put people off. It’s just to show what tyres, bike and tools etc they may need to check out some bits that could cause a minor problem. (Or major problem if you are on a big heavy bike on road tyres etc)

@@biscuitsalive exactly. I’d love to know what’s in store so I don’t have to get too deep before turning around.

@@motomoto2296 yep I know people that have done it. But very skill/tyre/conditions dependant.

Hazards 2 the devil's steps. The route should and can go around it. Turn left at the top.
