Thoroughly absorbing. I can't wait for the next part. It's been well over 20 years since I've ridden a trail bike (used to have a KMX 125) and this video is making me miss it. Also, I've been living in the USA since 2001, and it's nice to see footage from some of Britain's wonderful green lanes. Thank you for bringing us all this great content.

Great vid and a nice bit of single track once you’d conquered the first obstacle of the supermarket bollards and the lass with the shopping trolley! 😉. 100 miles a day wasn’t bad at all considering some of those lanes! 👍

Adventurous tracks. Even more so in rainy conditions. You both did very well with your small bikes. I wanted to try TET UK with my Transalp 600, but seeing your trip I'd rather take my Beta Alp 200 - half the weight of the Honda. Little luggage capacity, though. I need B&Bs open again. Cheers from Nürnberg/Germany, Günter

Thanks 😊 The lighter the bike the better for me. Particularly as I like to drop it a lot! Hopefully the time for more adventures comes soon! Cheers 🍻

Could have done the sand then right at the bottom of Sandy Lane. On to two byways one with a river splash on it. South of Alice Holt byway which I believe is TRO now. Never liked it anyway so slippery and full of glaring families. Good ride Good fun Good luck👍

Hey. Nice vid. Quick question. What bags are you using on the crf? They look like they for perfectly. Can't see the brand in the video
@thesurreyrider33964 жыл бұрын
Thanks mate! They are cheap XL-Moto soft saddlebags with roll bag. Take a look their site I think they still sell it. A good and cheap choice!

Was the CRF running stock gearing? I run 13/42 for the local trails here but it sucks for long distance and I stay in Scotland and really wanna do this.
@thesurreyrider33963 жыл бұрын
I think I had 13/42 too. Agreed it’s not great for long distance but fortunately we didn’t need to do too much road work

I'd love to do this on my Wr but not sure the ol girl has it in her these days. Enjoyed the video not sure what size your bike is sounds a like a 125 or 250 only thing I'd advise is using your gears a little more let it rev a little as it sounds like it's struggling all the time. Onto pt2

16:37 Sign says CYCLISTS MUST DISMOUNT COVID 19 Can't see the association myself.

Hahah me neither. I haven’t ridden a bicycle in years and thankfully have been COVID-free so far, there must be a correlation!
