I like the other one better because of all the electronics they swapped over to the other shell. 3d printing and messing with the taillights was so interesting to me. Even cooler to see the stuff work on the old body. Still enjoying this build, shame how the other one ended.

Actually, convertible frames are reinforced to compensate for the lack of roofline. This adds quite a bit of weight to the chassis. Not good if you are trying to go fast on an old chassis.

They made him take down all the episodes of Chris and team peeling a 201x mustang chassis and drivetrain down to something that will accept a 196x body, and here we go again. This build should be called the B-leanor... In all honesty though, what Chris and the team are doing is super cool and very mature. Instead of getting super sad or pissed off, (which I’m sure they probably are off camera) they are just starting over and doing it again. And I can’t wait to see the finished product. I hope all the bullsh*t with the legal situation only brought more attention and more viewers to this channel. Another silver lining is that they’ve already done most of this stuff once so they have the experience and have already learned a lot so this version will turn out even better than the first one would have 👍

The traction control is probably a setting assigned to the key your using..they come with two keys and you can program one to limit speed and all kinds of stuff in the my key section on the dash..if it wont let you change it take the first key you tried out of the car and try with tye second one..good luck

You could try to do a mashup rather than a straight body swap. Take all the cool looking parts like headlights tailights etc from a new one and try to graft them into the old body. Could be a good apocalypse theme, putting a car together with mismatched parts.
