Winners chapel never made it easy for the fatherless children to attend "our so-called covenant university " I'm glad I'm no longer a redeemed pastor, and also has nothing to do with winners chapel and the likes of them. My friend's sister died of cancer. She is a member of winners chapel. A fervent one for that matter. When she went to the hospital, they required about 2mil for chemotherapy, she couldn't afford it, she went to the church to solicit for fund, the same church where she gave all her January salary in the name of first fruit, the same where she pays her tithe regularly, told her that there was no money. Not even any amount, nothing. My friend tried his best but it was not good enough because chemotherapy was at least needed. Cancer spread and terminated the poor woman's life, a woman whose husband is no more, leaving only the children behind. This is the kind of Christianity we practice in Africa. Bible teaches of the life style of the early christians been full of signs and wonders, but many of the pastors lives now are rid of signs and wonders, so they want to use money to make up for that. 70% of their annual sermon revolve around SUCCESS, FAITH, BREAKTHROUGH and DELIVERANCE, While righteousness, holiness and true Love of God fight for the remainder. Don't mind some people. What facilities or infrastructure is the government providing? They are all tax payers. You said it, Politicians salaries and allowances should be reduced.

Thank you Adeola...the good lord will continue to bless you for all the truth you and others have revealed so far? If only the wicked rich in Africa can think and note that they have not helped anyone until they help those who can't pay back. Our politicians and some men of God keep stealing from us to enrich themselves and yet people keep worshipping them like gods. People really need to learn.

Pastors and church/congregant's money is the issue of difference between unethical and illegal practices. It may not be illegal, but is it ethical? Unfortunately, this is overshadowing public money by politicians all over Africa being stashed away offshore which is illegal.

Well done, Adeola. The remuneration of elected officials in Politics, is the first place where Nigerians need to start the reform. There are several reports indicating that just reducing their remuneration by even as small as 30% could significantly improve the quality of life of many Nigerians. I really wish our leaders consciences can be awakened. Even they themselves will see that they are the source of the biggest leakage of Nigeria's resources. Sad.

Aunty Deola you have done a fantastic analysis on the pandora paper list as relating to the G.O but it seems to me that most of Nigerian Christians block their sense of reasoning when it comes to religious leaders and there's hardly anything you can say until they're hit hard directly they won't learn. I pray most of our G.Os have a rethink and follow the footsteps of Christ and the apostles according to the scriptures. And for that ueye lawmaker, the truth is he would never of affecting he's on flamboyant lifestyle so that the best idea he can come up with. I just pray we the citizens have a rethink on how we vote animals to lead us
