We sit on our high horse as if nothing is being done...our boys are dying on the frontline. None of us here ain't sending our children to fight ISWAP or Boko Haram so will the President carry guns into Zamfara? I believe he did what he could, and like he said, he hopes Nigerians judge him fairly. Our position in stabilizing West Africa and the entire Africa is without question. The rest of Africa has so many things to learn from Nigeria. Nigerians change their government democratically every four years. Even when their government is bad, they endure it till it is over. They do not result to crisis causing options that several African nations take when they have a bad government in place. Every nation in the world has good or bad government at some time. With the current level of corruption in the South African rulling party courtesy of Jacob Zuma, is it safe to say that the country South Africa is doomed?

I believe the President was referring to the Lagos-Ibadan railway that was recently opened. It was built by the Chinese. The point remains, if your expenditures are more than your income, you cannot sustain your lifestyle. Nigeria is living above its means, and is using debt to survive. If we can just put some energy into recovering the stolen loot, and stemming corruption we’d be better off for it. It wouldn’t hurt for us to diversify away from oil either, but maybe that’s asking too much…smh

And these were times when Naira wasn’t in shambles like it is today. We have never seen or heard how these moneys were used. We hear about the coming loots but we don’t hear when it gets into the treasury. Why? it’s the same people with same greedy mindsets we recycle every 8 years.

I love the answers - Go back to farm The story of Agama Lizard will explain some of these answers In those days when we were doing Biology in school cert - there was what we called alternative to Practical where an item is selected for questioning. Normally in some instances the students get wind of the item courtesy of the teacher asked to prepare. So that particular year the students learnt it was going to be Agama lizard so all the students read wide about Agama lizard and crammed every thing about the Agama lizard. When the students got to the exam hall, instead of Agama lizard the question was on a tree The shock was so glaring to all the students and one student wrote thus: A tree grows in the bush and towns and many animals either eat it’s grass or fly beside it. So on this same tree is Agama lizard and he started describing in a three pager the characteristics of Agama lizard and refused to answer any question asked on the tree So Mr President mind was made up on going to the farm so all questions asked must have “go back to the farm”

Adeola, where will the trees be planted? Haven't we used most of the lands for real estate? This is one of the things that upset me about the Nigeria sectors. We always want to make money where things are trending and blame some people or government for that, but how about we find faults among ourselves too? The government have failed us drastically truly, but we the citizens need to find some ways to plan our success as well.

We shouldn’t blame BUHARI, we should blamed ourselves. Educated men and women in Nigeria are still sleeping and snoring. Guess what? They are ready to vote in BUHARI again if the constitution warrants such opportunity. At present, They are getting ready to vote Tinubu who is managing his life to be their president. Leaving a sound and healthy individuals. They haven’t seen anything yet, Venezuela problems will be a child play in Nigeria. These groups of men are taking advice from Niger 🇳🇪 Republic to run affairs in Nigeria. There is Nothing happening, The situation in Nigeria can never be improved. The citizens preferred old men who cannot do a dime to be their leaders. They gives money to be voted for, therefore, suffering from one problem to another. There are consequences of selling their conscience because of hungers and longer throat. These and many more gonna be hurting them years after years..

The Buhari problem started from those who sell their vote to a useless man who has no solution to all traumatic issues but sends people to farm. Sad! Hope voters will learn from this unspeakable atrocities experience.

If the next election is free and fair and that means using electronic transmission of results, I cannot imagine anyone voting for Buhari’s protégé considering where he left Nigeria. Nigeria went 20 years backward under him and sad to say, Buhari believes he moved Nigeria forward with high inflation, unemployment, ethnic distrust and insecurity. It is terrible when a leader has a mountain of flaws but lacks insight when people including journalists point at those flaws.

In Nigeria farming systems is one sided, government favour one part of the country than the other, south Nigeria has been sabotage over farming program, south look like we depend on the North for food.... Some times ago we have OSADEP but is no more.

Does anyone know what Nigeria’s monthly revenue from oil is or is Nigeria no longer selling oil or is Nigeria using the entire revenue from oil to service the National Assembly staff? I am asking this question because of all the loans in an oil country like Nigeria. Keep in mind that UAE made its money from oil and quickly diversified her economy into property development and tourism typified by the affluent Dubai city. Today, oil accounts for about 5% of the UAE revenue. So, do Nigeria’s leaders want to destroy the future of her youth and yet unborn by borrowing money it has ZERO plan to repay?

Adeola, fulaniherdsmen destroyed our 300plots of maize, cashew and cassava farms last year worth over 9millon naira. They tried to lay ambush for us but God delivered us. This happened in Owo, Ondo state. We though of substituting our income with farming, but that has not been possible in the Nigeria of today. May God give us a President that has the interest of the people at heart

The only thing I could deduce from the rather witty interview is that Buhari, in addition to his extreme conservativism, is way distant to reality. I am forced to believed Nigeria is currently run by some cabals from the North. Moreover, Adeola, thanks for demystifying the controversial video that has been making round in the past few days. You're doing a great job, ma!
