The Bishop Score is a tool used by OB/GYNs and Midwives to predict the success of an induction. During a cervical check the pieces of data needed to create the score are determined.

I got a score of a 7. What’s throwing me off is the station. I’m 41W4D but baby is still floating at station -4. Cervix is soft, short, and anterior. I’m 3cm dilated. Just that I’m not getting contractions because he isn’t low enough to cause them to

How the cervix is pointing. If your cervix is pointing toward your back it is posterior, straight down it is midline and towards the front of your body it is anterior. I hope that helps!
