I got the silencer installed, muuuuuch better , you can't hear the pops and burbles as well but you can always take it out. with the silencer in, I'm pretty happy. take it out when I wanna have a little more fun :)

Love the sound. Makes the air-cooled 6 sound mean. Did you notice any performance difference with stock? I know some claim crisper throttle response over stock exhaust.

Did you get the sound arrester? I love the weight loss of this exhaust but I'm worried about the sound level even with the silencer. I have a 78 targa it would go on.

I just installed the silencer in my 3.2 and it is still pretty darn loud! I will try it without, too. Let us know how you like it.

Hey Kevin great review I just got my setup in the mail today. I do have a non-exhaust question though I was wondering if you could tell me the exact model of your steering wheel and the specs. Do you find having a dished wheel is comfortable? Thanks in advance

John Layco it's the Momo mod 08 I like the dish because with the standard wheel I kept hitting the dashboard at 12 o clock with my fingers. Brings the wheel closer and I don't have to sit so close. I can drive in a more relaxed position. Only downside is that the turn signal requires me to reach forward .

Yes, I keep the sound arrestor in and don't take it out to be respectful to by neighbors and my ears. If i'm going for a canyon run or something, I may pull it off then , otherwise it's in there 100% of the time.
