There's always a tidbit they never admit. Very few people are ever really "self-made". There's always a "well I knew so and so and he/she..." or "...so my dad got menin touch with...". Actually the power-to-weight ration of a typical 1/10 or 1/8 scale RC car is almost obscene. In terms of a full size car a competition equipped RC car, under ROAR or IFMAR rules, would be a full sized car of about 4200lbs with 2000-3000hp, Nitro or electric. It is just crazier with Electric. 1/12 is crazier and would be technically obscene.
