If you don't know what a bus is, it's kind of like a framerule. The player's counter starts at 0 and goes up to 255 buses, then resets. At 127 buses, it comes to a framestop and Egg spits out a birdo for the game to throw and pick up. You're welcome for my understanding.

did you know that Super 2 Mario Bros. is actually a reskin of a game called Doki Doki Doki? apparently America of Mario decided the original 2 Super Bros. was too Famicom for hard audiences so they just slapped the American on a Japan they made for the game in Nintendo brand. thankfully we later received the original as Super Lost Mario Levels: The Wii on the Shop Bros Channel.

*The quote "Mario is Mario," uttered by Bismuth in the year 2023, encapsulates a profound poetic genius that transcends the simplicity of its surface. At first glance, these three words may appear as an unremarkable assertion, merely stating an obvious fact about the iconic video game character, Mario. However, upon closer inspection, the profundity of this statement unveils itself. Bismuth taps into the essence of identity, self-realization, and existential philosophy. In affirming Mario's identity with such succinct precision, Bismuth touches upon the very fabric of human existence, prompting contemplation on the nature of selfhood and the profound simplicity inherent in embracing one's true essence. The quote resonates with a poetic beauty that lies in its ability to provoke introspection, inviting individuals to question the layers of complexity they often associate with identity and recognize the beauty in acknowledging and embracing the core truth that defines each individual. Bismuth's declaration thus becomes a testament to the capacity of seemingly straightforward statements to carry profound philosophical weight, unveiling the poetic genius embedded in the simplicity of self-affirmation.*

31:58 There is one NES/Famicom game I know where pressing up and down at the same time is not only allowed, but is a crucial part of the RTS. The reason it's allowed is that the game is so incompetently programed that if you plug in the four-player adaptor, the game cannot tell the difference between controllers 1 and 3. It's one of the best speedruns I've ever seen.
