As you yourself correctly noted: he LIKELY would have been champ, if he became as toned as Usman and Leon, & fought at 155. The dude is a natural 185lb 5'11". He hardly cuts weight; he probably just take a big dumb, stop drinking and eating for a day or so & he's 170. Most of the Top 5 guys at 155 --- Benny, Gaethje, Charles, Islam et al ---- were AT LEAST as big and as tall as he is. Hell, Islam and Charles, both slightly taller than Colby, are struggling to make weight at 155. Anyway, only 2 out of 28 guys who are 35 years or old --- when they fight for the belt --- ever won, from WW down to Flyweight, the most competitive divisions, with the deepest pools. The fact of the matter is, Usman, Leon, Shavkat, Khamzat... they're all much bigger, taller, faster, and stronger than Colby. His problems is NEVER a lack of skills, grit, durability, heart, etc. It's just he's a bit too small, a bit too short, a bit too slow... and not having that one-punch, one-kick KO power. Taking Jorge or RDA down is one thing; taking Usman, Leon, Shavkat, Khamzat down is quite another. Keeping them down there is even harder. On the feet, all those bigger, taller, faster, and more powerful guys will just use MAGA man as mostly a punching and a kicking bag. The BS about MAGA man using his magical cardio and magical pressure to rag doll Leon --- or Usman or Shavkat or Khamzat --- is just that: BS. So, I guess you guys might as well engage in such BS and enjoy it, since that's all it is...
