His career started downhill after he got those Sinus “Adjustments” from some idiot chiropractor. The footage is online too… They put a balloon up your nose and fill it with air, opening the sinuses, but what they DONT KNOW is that those things completely detroy the righting reflexes, throw your proprioception COMPLETELY OFF, make you unable to take a punch, and cause immense injury in the years to follow. DONT EVER LET YOUR FRIENDS GET TALKED INTO THEM!

Love him. Hope the stem cells help. 2016 one of my all time favourite performances & if Buckley hadn’t got that spinning kick ko of year cody definitely had my vote against Raphael. He’s not done, amazing footwork, speed, takedown defence, timing, underrated wrestling, ko power that rivals o’malleys. Chin talk is nonsense at this point, just hope he has a speedy recovery. Fuck the haters, I eat, sleep & breathe mma but hate our community, especially the younger casuals.

@@michaeljvandyckI agree chito landed like 3 shots the entire fight but made them count. Cody schooled Cruz from bell to bell and danced on him. Chito made Cruz look really good at times.

@xXxVERIDIUMxXx exactly. Props to Chito but if that was a 3 round fight, Chito would have lost. Anyone can get caught and props to Chito for landing that vicious shot but what Cody was able to do to Dom over the course of 5 rounds with all the pressure of it being a title fight, it was super impressive. One of the best Championship performances ever. Like I said, anyone can get caught, even the better fighter can get caught but to completely dominate like that from bell to bell, and the flow state he was in left no questions like getting caught does.

The one thing that was surprising to hear him say is when he mentioned getting advice from Mighty Mouse about training and figuring out how to stay injury free. The opportunity for Cody to make a comeback and be a genuine title threat is razor, razor thin. But it exists and wouldn’t it be a story for the ages if he pulled it off! Cody's downfall is close to Tony's, to me. Such a shame, especially how he was wobbling and dropping Dillasnake in fight 1 only to lose just one round later. Cody could have been a massive star, I don't know what went wrong. Wish him the best of luck. These fighters never end up better physically from a couch potato. Makes you wonder if the exercise is good on the extreme level. My grandmother is 91 and has great mobility and does f all.

I do. TJ Dillashaw cracked his chin and he's very defensively irresponsible. Cody literally swings punches from his waist. Once that chin got cracked it was game over.

I still believe Cody, during Cruz's fight, was the best bantamweight of all time. Hope for a speedy recovery for him. Can't wait to see him again.

I really liked the cody era when he was champ. I remember how exciting it was when he basically ko'd the cheat in the first round but got saved by the bell. I was like YES YES YES!!! then I was like NOOOO NOO NOOO! Those were my favorite times as a fan. It's a shame he's only 32 and has SOOOO many injuries like even a lot for a professional mma fighter. its ridiculous.

Always liked Cody. Sure hope he set himself up financially when he was the champion making top dollar . I remember watching him taking private jets and living the good life when he had the belt. Wishing Cody only the best.

Say what you want about Cody but what that man did from 2015-2016 in one year most fighters vant do in 10 years. 5-0 and went from unranked to champ in one year. Just crazy bro

Big fan of Cody in the cage he's a savage but out the cage he used to rub me the wrong way sometimes but he seems to have done a lot of work on himself so good for him. Hope a speedy recovery is in his future 🙏

I’ve always been a fan of Cody. People liked to hate on him because he was never a great speaker but watching him fight was always fun because of how quick and explosive he was and he seemed like a good guy that was just misunderstood. I hope he is able to get through his injuries and returns to fighting.

The Cody that fought Cruz, vs Suga Sean for the title would be the sickest fight in the division. Not sure we'll ever see that Cody again, but damn....

If you get injured that much. You've got to think you might be overtraining or doing something wrong. Maybe not eating what you need to recover also. I know some people are more prone to injuries but still.

I’ve liked Cody from the beginning, it worried me a bit with his performances lately. It’s good to hear him, and get insight to his life. He’s seemingly more intelligent than he’s been made out to be.
