Check your facts guys, arman- makhachev wasnt a split decision, it wasnt even close, it was 30-27,30-27,29-28. So literally only 1 judge gave 1 round to arman. But for some reason (hate?), people keep repeating it was close.

The hypocrisy of the Islam haters goes like this: He did not defend his title vs a Lightweight therefore he shouldn’t speak about being a true champion. Hence he fought Volk twice ( 145er who fought in 155 lbs division) On the other hand, If Justin Gaethje wins vs Max Holloway a 145er who will fight in 155lbs division it’s a ok for him to call out Islam and demand the title since he beat max. In what would can you criticize Islam but not Gaethje. It’s the same thing. Dustin poirier at least fought a true 155er who was tearing up.

Islam wants to fight in June and Dustin is available, I think that's an okay match but only if Arman vs Charles at 300 winner doesn't want a quick turnaround training camp for a June fight. IMO Dustin and Arman wants to fight Islam for the belt... Charles wants to fight for the belt but isn't in a hurry (floating talks about fighting Connor first instead ) and seem put off by the fact it's Islam he has to face to win it. Justin recently said he's willing to let the winner of Arman/Charles match to take the first crack at Islam and face whoever holds the belt afterwards... sounds to me he also wants the belt but not particularly Islam as his opponent.
