Bisscute I’ve listened to Dimash for the past 4 years. Started with all his songs sung on The Singer contest from 2017. He’s what I consider the best singer I’ve ever heard. I didn’t know you are Romanian. I have been to Romania more times than I can remember. Timisoara, Bucharest, Oradea, Suceava, and so many other places. It’s a very beautiful country. I'm an American who speaks Russian. Now Russians can be and often are very blunt and harsh. I think that is just part of their culture and where people think that about them. Yet I also know they are so much more into the arts than the average American. Part of that is because everything comes so easy to Americans and that includes entertainment. Russian in the hands of a master like dimash is just not fair. I think if he sang the phone book it would become magic, but this is pure art.

I think Dimash can make any language sound beautiful! Kazakh has a lot of sounds made in the back of the throat that you would think would sound harsh, but when Dimash sings it sounds absolutely lovely! (Maybe it's just the difference between me trying to make those sounds which are foreign to me and a native speaker who can make them correctly!) I don't think I could pick a favourite Dimash song. I would have to list my top 10!

There is no single best Dimash song. To name one such song is to belittle all the others. None of his songs reflect the full range of his talents and abilities. In each of his songs you will find only a small part of his talent. And each of these small parts is so unimaginably huge that our brains explode in an attempt to combine into a single whole all the parts of his talent interspersed in his various songs. Only by listening to everything from Dimash you begin to gradually comprehend this bottomless abyss... Of course, not all of Dimash's songs touch me equally... But most of his songs are on my daily playlist. Mandatory listening are Stranger, Ave Maria, Know (in dozens of options!), SOS, Sinful Passion, Across Endless Dimensions, Samaltau, Qairan Elim, Ikanaide, Omir Oter, Amanat... And even his more pop songs do not leave you indifferent : I Miss You, Okay, Be With Me, Fly Away... I can't list everything that touches me personally... You have to go through this path on your own.

My Gramma just passed away yesterday July 16, 2022, and I was feeling quite sad she was 102 she lived a long rich full life but I sure miss her .. this song felt like she was reaching out through the veil of death and telling me that everything is okay and that the angels will be watching out for me . The gentleman at the piano is Igor Kutoy. He has been an icon of Russian pop music for decades and is reportedly a billionaire. Once he heard Dimash sing Igor came our of retirement and is now Dimash’s mentor and a kind of father figure. Their collaborations are extraordinary. Whenever I see Igor at the piano I know I’m in for a special performance. It’s interesting to watch how Igor gives Dimash plenty of space to shine as a superstar yet just by the way Dimash looks at Igor and the way he defers to him onstage you know there is a beautiful relationship there.

My favourite one is Daybreak from Bastau concert (but you better check his Daybreak perfomance in "Singer" from Gloria's Wu channel at first to know more about a song story - it's really heartbreaking). From last years "Stranger" is definitely the best one. Also his "Diva dance" perfomance (song from "The 5th Element" movie) from Bastau concert is iconic. Just a couple of people in the world can perform it and nobody can do it like he does.

Igor Krutoy composed this song 25+ years ago for Alla Pugacheva. Lara Fabian did the song 10-15 years ago. And then Dimash did this version. Dacă ești din România atunci precis ai auzit de Alla Pugacheva( eu-s din Moldova 🇲🇩) , și piesa asta a fost scrisă pentru ea în 1994(dacă nu mă înșel) și concertul și anume piesa asta a fost un fel de prezent pentru ea. Ea a împlinit 70 de ani în 2019 când a fost concertul ista,piesa avea 25 de ani.
