Well, you got dimashified 😀. Doesn't it feel just great?! You just scratched the surface, believe me. There are so many wonderful songs by Dimash. Which ever you may pick, it will be just mind blowing. But the most versatile, emotional, the deepest song/video to watch is 1️⃣ the Story of one Sky, music video and afterwards 2️⃣ the story of one Sky, live version. The first one to properly get the message, to appreciate that Dimash composed the song, wrote the script and that he does some decent acting as well. The second one to prove that Dimash really sings every single note himself, to show what body language means, aura, what it means to think music, to feel music, to live music, to be music. In the video you will not be aware of that because your attention will focus on that masterpiece of music video. I bet this is the most captivating m.v. you ever watched. Having watched both, prepare for the fact that experiencing Dimash live on stage is still soooooooo much better. Yes, the audience cried - so did I. I cried with joy, listening to the most beautiful voice in the whole universe. This was when I finally realized Dimash's skills and abilities to full extent.

This was in 2017. You wouldn’t believe how much he has improved since then. He still practises for hours. He composes, plays a few instruments, models, directs acts etc. and he is respectful, humble, generous and humanitarian and loving. No scandals around him. As one who listens to Dimash reactions daily and applauds Roimer's mission, he should scale it down a wee bit. "7+ octaves" is sufficient. Believe it or not, Dimash's ultra-broad technical mastery on its own, with "only" six+ octaves, would still make him the best. He hits an Occasional dolphin note. He doesn't sing entire songs up there. Dears, don't sound silly. Pretty soon I'll be hearing it's nine octaves, then ten. My mother was a lifelong classical pianist and piano teacher, and I studied and played four instruments. Enough with the octave worship!

Let me say that ithis is the perfect place for you to watch Dimash's introduction to the world outside Kazakhstan. Dimash was a wild card and had absolutely no chance of placing much less winning against these seasoned Chinese singers ... until he opened his mouth (after all, he wasn't Chinese). This song, 'S.O.S.' was the first song Dimash sang in this competition . The first out of 12. It's the next song he sings, 'Opera 2' where at the end Dimash learns his father is there. I'd suggest that you listen to ALL 12 of his songs in this competition called, 'I Am Singer' (2017). Dimash is truly one in a lifetime. AFTER you have listened to all 12 of these songs, listen to him sing a song he wrote at age 19 called 'Unforgettable Day' (GAKKU). In this song he hits an incredible D8 note. His highest to dat. In 'Stranger', he goes down into his bass register. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh, and while you are listening to music, put your headphones on and listen to another incredible wonder child called Diana (Dee-Aaana) Ankudinova. Dimash is without a doubt the greatest voice I have ever heard and I have lived through the era of some of the greatest voices in the last 50 years like MJ, Bowie, Queen Prince etc. If you think he's an opera singer then be prepared to have your mind blown as Dimash sings across all genres from Opera to Rap and everything in between.

Fast forward to 2023 and DIMASH is much better now than he was then. I don't know if Romier mentioned to you he is not just a singer, but composer, dancer, actor and multi-instrumentalist. His talent seems boundless, in some of his more recent Music Videos he does even more amazing performances and leaves you the same way, wondering how he can do what he does and how much better will he get in the future. If you watch more of him you will understand what I mean. Best in the World, I have never seen better. I have never been a "groupie" sort of person, and never all out on any performer until I discovered him about 6 years ago, and am compelled to watch him and hear him sing daily. he can become an addiction.
