Thanks for the comparison. I have the old rug doctor that they used to rent out. It’s just to heavy. I have gone through 2 of the smaller rug doctors that were ok. Getting ready to buy another when I found your video. I think I’ll buy the bissell. I see they have 2 in the big green. One slightly more expensive. I will get the one with the hose. Appreciate your taking the time to compare them. Thank you.

I found a cure for those Dyson canister dander clinging woes and blocked passages of fine particulate. It works well and is antistatic. First take your canister and remove it from the bin. Tap it over the garbage to really get most of the particulate out. Cut a section of bounce sheet and put it in the bin ( cut it to what ever size it takes so that it at times cyclones around the bin). Replace the canister back in place. Start vacuuming. It's amazing how it reduces static cling and keeps those canister cyclones clean and the screen ( whether ball or cordless). After 20 minutes of vacuuming I've noticed all the fine particulate at the bottom of the bin and on the bounce sheet. By one light tap the bounce sheet drops the fine particulate to the bottom and the sheet can be reused a few times. It works amazing ( Don't let Dyson know😂😂😂)

Question: Both the bissell and that version of RD is rated to clean and extract in both forward and reverse directions. It was unclear in your video if you stopped cleaning in the forward or if you actually kept the soap going both ways? That would have then been 4 passes with each machine?

I just picked up the machine two hours ago and having someone help me with it but he’s not very enthusiastic so the stains aren’t really coming out. I’m going to try to do it after he leaves. @@VacMaster1991 We're not expecting the water to be clean, but shouldn't it be NOT black/dirty? Not expecting perfection, C is good. :) My freind says i should go back to the store to rent for an extra day. Just want to make sure i didn't omit something. called the store but the girl says she's never used those machines before. She gave me the vendor number and they asked me to check the brush. Was on hold and was checking. The girl at Bissell kept talking about the wetness of the carpet and i told her my issue isn't the dampness is the dirty water. anyone feel free to pitch in...i'm an amateur and 1st time user. :) But as long as my water is dirty, i'm extracting the dirt, right? lol dang that's a lot of dirt...well we get a busy blvd where a major bus line runs in the living room but the bedrooms that face a quieter street had the very perpetual dark black dirty water. maybe bc the carpet's never been shampooed before it may take several follow ups?

How well will the BG10 lift pet urine? My girlfriends cousin came to stay for 4 days and her dog made himself at home now that they have gone back home, our place smells like dried urine in one corner or our living room. I was thinking I would just burn that entire room, but it would be cheaper to buy a carpet cleaner.
