Nice teardown! It sucks that the whell on mine was crocked and tBissell no longer make them replaceable, with service center quoting me the replacement part of the lower powerhead together. Your video is a great start for me to look for potential solutions to save mine.

did you happen to unscrew the top 2 screws starting right below the handle release. I was attempting to take the entire back off until some white substance started coming out of the screw holes I didn't have enough time to invest so I stopped. Just wondering if you happened to tear the machine all the way down. Oh and do you sell any of those parts? thanks

I've gotten 2 replacements and all 3 of them messed up in less then a year. Because my warranty just recently ran out I'm screwed bissell basically said so no help from them. I keep having issues with the water not coming out or barely with having to keep repetitive pushing and I've replaced the handle and still no help at all. Any ideas on how to fix it or is it trash?

The whole reason I watched this, was to see how to get to the brush roll motor and belt… and you broke it apart instead of taking it apart. 🤦‍♀️😂 I just replaced almost all of the parts on mine, and the brush decides to stop spinning. The thing has been nothing but trouble since I got it.

That’s because you can’t. Like literally you can’t get to them without breaking it. It’s designed that way on purpose.

@@hanksgarage_ That really sucks. I know you can buy a replacement motor, so I foolishly assumed I would be able to access the broken one. I have spent so much money replacing tanks, brush guards, filters, brushes… just for the stupid brush motor to go out. Plus, the way they make it, you can’t even clean out from around the spinner knob. I used a dental hook to pull some hair out from around it, and the first time, it worked. Then the next time I went to use it, it wasn’t spinning again. Thanks for your video! I would have thought I was just too incompetent to figure it out, had I not watched this.

If you had a warranty issue with it and took it to a bissell service center they would have just sent you a brand new one instead of fixing it.

This is indeed the biggest piece of crap I have ever purchased...Bissell USED to make good and reliable products. 300 bucks down the tubes.
