Bit of the Week- we're looking at some different options available to riders in the Pelham family of bits. The Pelham bit is a leverage bit. This means it increases the rider's rein aids in strength and also asks for the head to lower. #bitoftheweek

Which is the weakest pelham? I am going to put my horse in one as we are going to be competing at a country show but I would like to put her in the weakest one

There is no weaker/stronger, just different pressure points and set ups. If you dont need something as strong as a pelham a universal is a much much better option :)
