Hahaha I noticed that too, it's almost the same exact drum beat as their song Van. It's basically the same but has some added fills that kind of spice it up a bit, but then the droney sax comes in and it really is cutting down any doubts that they're the two members of clowncore. Basically everyone knew already, but if this has come out around the time the Van album did who'd have been able to argue it at that point?? I kinda wish there was some doubt still because the anonymity of clowncore was kinda dope. Hardcore Louis Cole fans knew it was him but it wasn't common knowledge, it was like a cool little Easter egg for musicians to see alone.

If this ain’t my favourite song in the album, it’s without a doubt the one I’ve listened to the most. The nerve racking intro followed by all that raw energy is just intoxicating. Makes me want to go completely nuts at a live concert. As someone else said, the song was perfect, and then Sam brought it to a whole other level

Three things: 1. I was literally listening to this on spotify when YT recommended it to me. 2. Oh my god. The transition from shallow laughter to this has one of the best beat drops I’ve heard all year. (Also, as someone who wants to study jazz in post secondary, the instrumentation in shallow laughter was beautiful) 3. After hearing these songs, I had a dream where I got to work with Louis Cole on tour and he is such a cool guy! (I briefly got to meet him after one of his concerts IRL, so it was sorta like a continuation of that)

I have no words for this, is like if a teacher would give you some rules to create music, and you somehow take that and come up with something else. The whole 'bitch*s' is like a 'fu*k you' to everything. It hits hard, and there's nothing that sounds like this nowadays.
