The lack of drama is why I’m attracted to the show they actually show you how to build a car and what it takes their engineers and fabricators are some of the best in the world that’s what makes the show as good as it is can’t wait for new episodes.

I would personally agree with that, I am turned off by all the drama, but I am an automotive restorer myself and have never cared much for drama and drama queens. However I have noticed especially as a schoolteacher that most people seem to really like drama in their lives or are entertained by watching it in other peoples lives. I don’t understand why but it is an observation that I have made.

Those who appreciate cars love this show for what it is(world class automotive fabrication and creation), and for what it's not(scripted fake drama and other unnecessary trivial bullshit!)! The price a customer pays for his/her Bitchin Ride is rarely if ever discussed in front of the camera. As a long time shop owner I can tell you Dave's margins have to be substantial to cover his overhead plus make a nice living for himself. His employee talent is top range and must be well paid to stay with him. With 100s of 1000s $$ of tools and equip Dave's monthly nut must be a ton. He is the American dream and I wish him all the success life has to offer..

I love the comical comradery as much as the build itself, the different mechanics have different comical sides to them but it all works so well. All the guys share their knowledge, and secrets with each other in a heartbeat and that makes for a Great Team! I love the show and hope it continues to flourish with new ideas, and the camaraderie never ends. Last year some friends and myself rode our Harleys to Sturgis and on our way back to the Bay Area, my best friend and I headed towards Salt Lake City to check out Kindigit Designs. I dislike any scripted drama that takes all the attention, then skipping almost all the work done on the featured car(s) and just showing the finished product(s) for a few moments at the end of the episode. This show is easily the best custom car show for a multitude of reasons. The guys seem genuine and the builds are genuinely spectacular.

I absorb each and every episode as a reminder and testament to the quality of fabrication and detailed workmanship. Especially I refer to, Walt's designing, fabricating-building (there is a distinction between the two words, believe me I know) of this trucks metal Convertible top. Walt is a master in design, engineering, and fabrication. That's why I watch the show is for it's craftsman at work. Secondly, I am amazed how Dave can find customers (these days) who can afford what it costs to have these craftsman work on there cars. Having been in the business in California for years during the "best years" of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and into the 2000, seeing the best builders reduce their business because there isn't enough customers to pay what it costs these days to build the type of car I see being built by Kindig is remarkable. Thanks for reading my contribution.

I watch to see craftsmen at the top of there game. I watch to learn, I watch to be amazed. If I want scripted drama I'll watch the nightly news. BTW, I don't watch the nightly news. But I'll keep watching Bitchin Rides as long as Kindig and crew are on. Thanks for the story behind these guys.

I love this show because it is real and I personally helped take a very large industrial welding, machine shop, large electric motor repair and manufacturing shop that was in poor shape and with my great talented crew and 30 years took it to one of the premier large shops in the country and did work around the world. We ended up fixing and building hydro generators from the ground up including take down and assembly ( our company however had large design, engineering and manufacturing for almost everything and supplied a lot of backing when we needed it and they were around since early1900's) We did how ever make our facility top in quality, innovation, safety and a crew that was the best and we could do anything, anytime for our customers. This is why it is so good to see a family of workers that can and will do anything with number one focused on quality, safety, hard work and ever one works as a team and they are all a part of it, not just employees. Did you notice they almost always enjoy their work no matter if something goes bad sometimes or not. I love what they have done and have such great ethics. It looks like a repeat of what we did and it shows the true American Spirit. Great show you guys, but not as great as you guys are! 👍

According to some the comments I've read the producers need to take note. People like the lack of drama and the build is the important thing.

Don't change a thing, finally a show not scripted, plus they do outstanding work. You don't need people throwing chairs and bashing doors or getting into fake fights. Would love if they could work on my 47 ford sedan deluxe I've been customizing. I wish i could afford them.

Love this show love the craftsmanship ,love the fact it’s not scripted, Camp Will I find patronising ,but again he’s good at his job . Much better than OMG we are going to miss a deadline and staged fights in the garage . Dave Kindig is the new Boyd Coddington ,with out the annoying bully foreman who I would have personally decked had he spoke to like he did other staff members. Love the fact that at Kindig everyone helps each other out its a quality team .
