Phil calling those two hands was actually ridiculously impressive.

can't believe how phil called the exact hands of those guys. amazing.
@BLUFGaming6 жыл бұрын
Honestly that was the first time I've been impressed by Helmuth's play. His bracelets are impressive, sure, but you don't get to watch those games. I've seen him read poorly against a lot of pros... what I'm thinking, after this, is that maybe he's just fantastic at reading sub-pro players. Great gift to have for making money.

Its Actually not hard to read in that spot, i mean Hellmuth is great player, but he never gonna reach the players like Polk, Bonomo, Holz in knowledge of poker
@glennhagstedt4 жыл бұрын
@@plastikaaa Phil is better against amateurs, Holz and Bonomo is on another level against the pros. And putting someone on exact K9 in this spot is incredible nontheless, he knew exactly where he was in this hand, you can even see when he realizes Clacanis got KQ, when he said "You know what makes him the worlds greatest? the ability to lay it down" You can see it on Phils face.

19:45, that's by FAR the worst play in poker history, Calacanis trying to confused Phil by saying "did you hit your set" knowing HE did and thinking it's the nuts.. Lolllll his reaction is priceless and Hellmuth "we both have 10-9.... Oh, no you don't" is hilarious. Calacanis could play blindfolded and it would not make any difference.. hahahah and the dude sit aside Calacanis has the "What the fuck was that play" look

Funny how Phil talks so much when he has poor cards but becomes dead silent when he got AA. How is this guy a pro? Can be easily read.
@lassejensen87733 жыл бұрын
When Phil gets cards he folds, he talks. When he gets cards he plays, he remains silent. Most players do this - talk when you are not in a hand and stay quiet when you are in a hand. It is not a tell but common sense; you don't want to signal some tell by talking as you are in a hand ...

never heard of these guys so I had to do a little research.. Jason sounds like a great guy but virtually all public accounts of Chamath paint him in a very negative light; he sounds like a terrible person who made much of his fortune from shady deals which have resulted in lawsuits.. and for the record? neither of them are billionaires. they might oversee investment firms which control billions in assets, but Jason and Chamath have never personally been worth more than a couple hundred million at the most. that's still an insane net worth but it's very different from actually having a bill, so it's kind of weird how this show and the presenters keep throwing around the word "billion"
