Nice conversation.!! I think the mathemazation of Bitcoin's price into a "law" is what I don't buy the idea. It's the same as keysian macroeconomist measuring growth through a mathematical model by measuring demand. Bitcoins demand can't be mathemacized. It's basic human action

Definitely agree! Sina mentioned this

Power law isn’t a “law”

Your perspective is interesting and highlights an important critique of mathematical models - they are always a simplification of reality. While I agree that human actions and market psychology are hard to quantify, models like the 4-Year SMA still provide useful benchmarks. They help to reveal long-term trends, even if they can’t account for short-term market movements. Ultimately, as you mentioned, Bitcoin’s market is driven by human demand, but this demand often follows certain patterns - which is what these models aim to capture.

Loved seeing that you are open to learning to about this data Rajat. I have always been disappointed at how quick some dismiss the power law as price prediction mumbo jumbo and fail to see there is a real beauty in the consistency of bitcoins trajectory that makes it’s an antifragile force of nature. Growing in the same way a solar system grows, once it reaches certain points the data suggests an inevitability that it will do another order of magnitude. To me this doesn’t make me want to trade, but just makes me stronger in my convictions of BTC. Plus I just love science stuff, so it’s cool that it overlaps with my other passion in btc

New to bitcoin, but am thinking about pulling the trigger next month and buying say $500-1000 of BTC right out the gate and then DCA for the next 5-8 years or longer and just stacking in cold wallet and holding... does that sound like a sound plan, need some advice? I don't want to sell or trade down the road but simply convert it to cash...
@rajatsonifinance6 сағат бұрын
Sounds like a good plan. Buy some now and set up automated purchases forever.
@artisanjames1825 сағат бұрын
@@rajatsonifinance Okay thanks, as long as it can be converted to cash and i dont have to sell or trade which i don't even know how to do yet anyway... Mark moss predicts conservatively around 150-170k next year per bitcoin... late 2025

@@BattleDroid191 Why's that? I'm hearing and seeing videos left and right of owning just 0.1+ bitcoin and stacking is all you need as it will appreciate in the next 10-15 years...?

If you truly understand bitcoin! The “Power Law” or any law for that matter! Bitcoin is designed to go up forever by 21 million coins! That’s the POWER LAW!

I sort of agree and disagree about Bitcoins' volatility... when there's a crash in the legacy financial system bitcoin will crash big time too. But we all know the u.s fed and other western central banks will do what they do.... best...
