Spot on, Peter, about that pension plan reasoning. About 23 years ago I worked as a pension plan advisor/consultant and the calculation of how much the customer needed to save each year for the rest of their work life to reach a reasonable pension at 65 yo, often made them really appreciate how urgent starting saving is. I myself also got that cruel reminder when I visited a pension advisor in 2014, and it was then my search for a better savings plan started. Eventually that led to me to Austrian economics in 2015/16 and then Bitcoin in February of 2017. The rest is history 😅

Bitcoins scarcity is absurd. Once its properties truly click in the majorities head against the backdrop of sovereign debt sprials the rush to aquire and its exponential monetization and adoption are going to be unlike anything seen in all human history. Stay humble, stack sats, and hodl on. The next few decades are going to be wild.

I hate that these bitcoin only companies don't address what would happen if they went out of business. I guess the claim is they're backing operations on a bitcoin standard so they 5x their portfolio backing it every 4 years. But if heads of companies die sometimes a company loses to buyouts and those entities buying are doing predatory purchase...

Real estate, bonds and (some)equities have their place because they pay a dividend, whereas bitcoin does not. And we seek dividends because we all have fixed expenses in life. On the other hand, bitcoin is superior to gold, art and collectibles because it has lower cost for custody and transaction.
